The True Humanity of Jesus Christ
The United Pentecostal Church, after some controversy over a teaching on Jesus from believers linked with them in Ethiopia, felt the need to clarify their position regarding the humanity and deity of Jesus Christ. At the same time they took a stand against what has become known as the divine flesh teaching.
The divine flesh teaching basically states that the flesh of Jesus was a special creation of God in the womb of Mary instead of coming from the human lineage of Mary.
