Below are videos of the debate between David Bernard of the United Pentecostal Church and Gene Cook from a reformed Baptist Church. The discussion involves the issue of the Godhead: Oneness beliefs vrs. Trinitarian beliefs. It would appear that the audience consisted mostly of Oneness believers.
This is Bernard's opening statement.
Continues Bernard's opening statement and follows with less than two minutes from Gene Cook's opening statement.
Continues Cook's opening statement. He states the two of them do not worship the same God.
Continues Cook's opening statement. This is followed by comments from David Bernard.
Bernard continues a little, followed by Cook's response. Then Bernard asks Cook questions and he responds (discuss 'persons').
Bernard's questioning of Cook continues. Cook states Bernard keeps putting words into his mouth.
Cook questions Bernard.
Bernard's closing remarks, followed by those from Cook, who starts with a question for Bernard.
The debate is now opened for questions from the audience. No attacks allowed. Questions are directed to one of the men and when they are done responding, the other has a chance to comment. Responses are limited to four minutes.
Audience questions continue. The question of water baptism arises and continues for most of this clip. Cook points out that we are not saved by some vocal utterance at water baptism.
Audience questioning continues. Bernard states Cook speaks of three Gods. Water baptism yet discussed.
Audience questioning continues. More on water baptism.
More audience questions.
The videos end while questions are yet being taken.
